iPhone saved my wife's life at Manchester attack
Husband to one of the victims who
lost her finger in Manchester terror attack has narrated how his wife’s iPhone
saved her from being killed.
Lisa Bridgett, 45, who sustained
several injuries from the sad incident, was at Arianda Grande’s concert with
her daughter and daughter’s friend.
According to report, Salman Ramadan
Abedi, a Mancunian of Libyan descent was responsible for the bomb
that killed 22 persons and injured 59 people in Manchester.
But Lisa was on a call at the time
Salman Abedi detonated the deadly bomb.
Her
husband Steve, 45, narrated that his wife who had surgery and was due to have
another operation after suffering multiple injuries, including a fractured
ankle and a large wound on her thigh was very lucky to be alive.
According to him the smashed phone
slowed down the nut which chopped off her middle finger adding that the fact
that she was on the phone at the time probably saved her life.
