BREAKING NEWS: Ekpeye Notorious Militant General Igbudu, other arm robbers killed (See Photos)

A major breakthrough was recorded last night in Ahoada East Local Government Area in Rivers State as the leader of the dreaded Ekpeye Liberation Front,General Igbudu and five others were killed in an operation along East/West road in Ahoada East.

It was gathered that they mounted a road block in Ihubu,opposite an NNPC filling station,along the East/West road for a robbery operation and a bus swooped at them that left them unconcious before the men of the JTF opened fire on them.

The people of the area have been trooping in and out of the Ahoada Police Station to see their dead bodies laid on the ground.

THE Rivers State Police Command on Thursday declared an ex-militant leader, Solomon Ndigbara, wanted for alleged arson. Ondo state APC settles with candidate ready for election

  The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, says he has no grudge against the state party chairman, Isaac Kekemeke. Speaking after a closed-door meeting with the party chairman at residence in Akure, Akeredolu says he met with the chairman to discuss how the party would be victorious in the forthcoming governorship election. Things fell apart between Akeredolu and Kekemeke before the primary election of the party over the issue of alleged endorsement of an aspirant. The party had been engulfed in crisis following the rejection of the recommendation of the Electoral Appeal Committee by the National Working Committee of the party. The committee had recommended that the result of the September 3, 2016 primary election should be annulled.
