Amos Adamu Offers Lasting Solution to NFF Crisis.
Former CAF and FIFA Executive member, Amos Adamu has called on Stakeholders in Nigeria to restructure the electioneering process into and reward mechanism of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to entrench peace after elections are won and lost.
The former NFF Sole Administrator was speaking on the heels of the recent imbroglio rocking the NFF since the April 8th Court ruling nullifying the Congress and eventual election of the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF Board in a case brought before it by football Administrator, Chris Giwa.
Giwa and Pinnick were front runners to replace former President Aminu Maigari in 2014 but irregularities in their elections have since resulted in back and forth litigation.
Adamu, who was Nigeria’s highest football Administrator in FIFA, insists that there is need to pacify candidates who lost in such elections in order to forestall lingering crisis as has since engulfed the Pinnick-led board of the NFF.
