A major breakthrough was recorded last night in Ahoada East Local Government Area in Rivers State as the leader of the dreaded Ekpeye Liberation Front,General Igbudu and five others were killed in an operation along East/West road in Ahoada East. THE Rivers State Police Command on Thursday declared an ex-militant leader, Solomon Ndigbara, wanted for alleged arson. Ndigbara, who hails from Yeghe in the Gokana Local Government of Rivers State, was said to have ordered the burning of a building. The command disclosed this in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Wednesday by its Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Muhammad. Solomon is also the suspect who allegedly assassinated an APC Chieftain and a lecturer yesterday in Rivers for writing a letter against him.
