The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have fixed Sunday December 7th  as a day for all churches across Nigeria to offer special prayers  against the activities of Boko Haram sect and also give special  offering for victims of the various attacks. In a statement signed by the General secretary of the association, Dr.  Musa Asake, CAN asked Christians to pray for all who have been affected by  the activities of Boko Haram irrespective of their religious affiliations.
