Boko Haram funded through CBN- Australian Hostage negotiator says

  It appears Australian hostage negotiator Dennis Stephen isn't done making outrageous and some would say 'eye-opening' claims. Just a day after he claimed that former Borno state Gov, Alimodu Sheriff and an unnamed retired army chief are sponsors of Boko Haram, he's now claiming that the insurgent group if funded through the CBN. In an interview with TheCable , Stephen claimed a senior official of the CBN handles the financial transactions of the sect group. What he said below... "One of the biggest of suppliers of arms and military uniforms to the JAS (Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, better known as Boko Haram) currently lives in Cairo, Egypt. He is the recipient of money sent by political sponsors from Nigeria. The funds go through the CBN’s financial system and appear to be a legal transaction. False Alarm over Ebola at Lagos Airport

There was anxiety yesterday at the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos after an alarm was raised that a passenger arriving the airport from Enugu had the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). TheNation reports that passengers were soaked in tension and anxiety when the aircraft carrying the suspected victim, a lady, arrived Lagos from Enugu at about 2pm. The aircraft was given a medical emergency landing and clearance following a call the airline received from Enugu that one of the passengers on board the flight has been infected with the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease. On arrival of the aircraft at the domestic wing of the Lagos Airport, the lady ; an Enugu based nurse, was subjected to screening for Ebola. Boko Haram Turns Police College to Training Camp – Survivor

  The police college overrun by Boko Haram sect over a week ago has been converted into the base of the terrorist group, according to the Director, Catholic Social Communications, Maiduguri Diocese of the Catholic Church, Gideon Obasogie, who narrated the account of a survivor to Saturday PUNCH on Friday. The clergyman in both telephone chat and e-mail to Punch , said: “I am sad, really sad to my bone marrows about this ugly development. The world must know the truth; people were captured and taken to the police training ground for serious training as combatants. It is now one of their strongest bases. The missing policemen have joined the Boko Haram instructors. How Nigerian Diplomat, Olu Koye, Took Ebola to Port Harcourt

  The Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Samson Parker, has explained how the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease got to Port Harcourt. During a press conference in Port Harcourt on Friday evening, the commissioner revealed that the late Dr. Samuel Enemou, who treated Olu Koye, a Nigerian diplomat with the Economic Community of West African States, was aware that the diplomat was a carrier of the deadly Ebola virus. Parker said: “Olu Koye had received the late Dr. Patrick Sawyer in Lagos. Upon developing the symptom, he confided in a female colleague, called Lilian, who contacted the late Dr. Samuel Enemou. Dayo Adeneye's Kidnapped Father-in-law Yet to be Released after Family Paid Ransom

  Caroline Adeneye (Nee Negbenebor), the daughter of billionaire business man, Sir Michael Negbenebor  has confirmed in strong terms the abduction, last weekend, of her father, the Chairman, Soccer group of companies, and Negbenebor International School. And according to her, her family has even paid the ransom but her dad is yet to be released. Sir Negbenebor was abducted in Benin city, Edo State last week Sunday. When Mrs Caroline was contacted, she said: “Its true he was kidnapped last week Sunday in Benin. The kidnappers asked for a ransom which we have paid on Tuesday 26th August, 2014, and till now he has not been released. When asked how much ransom was paid to the kidnappers, Caroline refused to disclose the amount paid, for security reasons and also considering the fact that her father is yet to return home. “ I cant disclose the amount we paid” she said.
